Writing Along the Way
Walking has become, a little in spite of myself, a way of reading the world and of being present within it. From the great pilgrimage routes to the forgotten paths of Europe, and above all towards Compostela, I carry back under my shoes the noble dust of roads of freedom and memory, the moved memory of fraternal encounters, and moments whose deeper meaning reveals itself only with time.
Little by little, the experience of the road became bound up with that of bearing witness and sharing through words. From these long crossings a collection of books was born: each volume explores stages of a journey built over time, inner landscapes, and the questions — sometimes the answers — that emerge once everything draws away from the noise around us and falls silent.
This blog is the natural continuation of the books. Here I share stories gathered along the way, correspondence, as well as behind-the-scenes glimpses and news of new releases. It is a place to pause, to take one’s time, to be steeped in the stories, and to discover the whole collection.
Written to accompany both the traveller and the dreamer, the books are available in French and in English. I invite you to discover them in The Collection.
Thank you for being here, and a fine journey through these pages.
